There are numerous ways of providing fire protection to structural steelwork.
Intumescent Paint (up to 2 hours)
Spray applied coating, using electric or petrol driven airless spray equipment. The intumescent paint can provide 30/60/90/120 minutes structural fire protection to suit your requirements If the steelwork is to remain exposed and on view then decorative topcoats can also be applied to the colour of your choice
Rigid Board encasement (up to 4 hours)
Board encasement using noggins or metal framing systems. Boards can be finished ready for decoration.
Soft board encasement (up to 4 hours)
Mineral fibre insulating boards fixed to noggins or impaled onto pre-fixed pins or welded studs. These boards can be foil faced but are not suitable for decoration
